2 Poem using Personification
"Ah, William, we're weary of weather,"
said the sunflowers, shining with dew.
"Our traveling habits have tired us.
Can you give us a room with a view?"
The teapot sang as the water boiled
The ice cubes cackled in their glass
the teacups chattered to one another.
While the chairs were passing gas
2 Song using Personification
Give me a shot to remember
And you can take all the pain away from me
A kiss and I will surrender
The sharpest lives are the deadliest to lead
A light to burn all the empires
Promises, I hope I never break ‘em
Met a female dragon, had a fire conversation but
Interviews are like confessions
Get the hell out out my bedroom confusing me with questions like......

Personification in Lodged by Robert Frost
1. Can the rain really talk to the wind ? Can the wind really listen to the rain ? Can the flowers really kneel ?
No because the rain doesn't really have a voice, and the wind don't really have any ears, and flowers don't have knees .
2. What are some effects that the tool of personification brings to this problem ?
It will make the reader think about what the writer was saying about the story .
3. If the rain and wind and flowers we're real people, how would one describe the event that is occurring ?
the rain and wind and flowers would like have a full on conversation. and probably argue .
4. If flowers were real people, how do they feel after the wind and rain "smote" the garden bed"?
probably hurt . or relived ? i think the rain hurts flowers . so yea hurt.
5. Speculate on why the speaker of the poem empathizes with the flowers ?
maybe he wants the flowers to stand out more than all the other objects in the poem.
No because the rain doesn't really have a voice, and the wind don't really have any ears, and flowers don't have knees .

Hyperbole Poem
My dad had a good day of hunting,
and he came home with a really big deer.
It was bigger than any deer ever,
so i knew my dad had no fear.
Its head looked bigger than an Elephant's,
body as big as a whale.
He killed it, call it a predicate,
and no he did not fail.
and he came home with a really big deer.
It was bigger than any deer ever,
so i knew my dad had no fear.
Its head looked bigger than an Elephant's,
body as big as a whale.
He killed it, call it a predicate,
and no he did not fail.
Tall Tale
When my dad came home one day from going hunting. He brought home one of the biggest deers i have ever saw in my life. ! It was as big as and Elaphant or much bigger. It looked so heavy , It lokked like it wighed more than a humpback whale. or alot much much heavier.
